This is how the regional value idea works:

Regionalwert AG Hamburg connects citizens, farmers, food artisans, restaurateurs, and retailers. It does so as follows:

• We regularly issue citizen shares. These are not listed on the stock exchange, but rather through a public issue of registered shares. Each share costs €500 (plus a premium for the costs of the capital increase).
• We invest the money as equity in regional businesses: farms, food processors, retailers, and restaurants. With the investment, we become co-owners of the businesses – and the businesses become our partners. In addition to the investment partnership, there are other ways to become a partner.
• Our partner companies are committed to social and environmental standards and to working together as equals—for example, by purchasing as much of each other's products as possible.
  We further strengthen businesses with services such as farm succession consulting, business management and communication.

The result:

Added value, jobs, and good food remain in the region. Smaller businesses and the regional food industry are strengthened. A regional network is created, supported by the citizens.

And not just through shares. But also as customers: Regionalwert shareholders know their businesses. And the more they buy from them, the better the businesses do – and Regionalwert AG Hamburg. And, of course, the shareholders themselves.

12/2022 - Moving and division of Administration Department to Nienburg-Langendamm and Verden

2022/2023 - Construction of a dedicated catering kitchen and modernization of the dining room with redesign of the buffet area at the Langendamm location

10/2021 - Expansion of our medical and vocational rehabilitation services through additional facilities in the city of Verden

06/2021 - Presentation of our new offer for Everyday support in Verden

12/2020 - Completion of the new day care facility at Hafenstraße 3 in Nienburg

2018/2019 - Renovation of our building at Verdener Str. 2 in Nienburg (outpatient assisted living and day care center)

03/2017 - Start of construction of the BURG-WG extension

07/2015 - Opening of the RPK Verden for the medical and vocational rehabilitation of mentally ill people

04/2015 - Expansion of Psychiatric Home Care (pHKP), new location in Rotenburg
