Welcome to the 10th year!
The RPK Verden is a rehabilitation service for people with mental barriers,
who want to consolidate their stability after a long period of illness and find a way back into employment.
Medical and vocational rehabilitation are offered, which can follow one another.
On July 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You are invited to visit the RPK, projects from the work areas, and individual projects of participants. Refreshments and food will be provided.
The RPK Verden is characterized by interdisciplinary work in a multi-professional team.
All professional groups are in regular contact in order to coordinate individual therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.
In medical rehabilitation, you will receive support through a differentiated range of medical care, psychological individual and group therapies, clarification of social problems by the social services, as well as support with job applications, occupational therapy including work therapy, relaxation techniques (e.g. PMR, Yoga, QiGong), offers for leisure activities, exercise and nutrition.
Medical rehabilitation lasts up to one year. During the course of medical rehabilitation, internships are planned, therapeutically prepared, supervised, and discussed with us.
Vocational rehabilitation primarily focuses on planning, supporting, and debriefing internships. Work-related topics are primarily addressed through psychological consultations, group therapy, and lectures. Vocational rehabilitation also lasts up to one year. The aim is a timely transition into employment.

After a long period of mental illness, would you like to return to work through rehabilitation?
Do you feel stable enough that you no longer require inpatient or outpatient treatment?
But without support you can’t find your way into the world of work?
Are you able to reach the RPK Verden independently and manage to participate in rehabilitation in Verden for at least 4 hours every day?

First, we'll schedule an informational meeting with you, where you can determine whether you'd like to undergo rehabilitation with us.
A medical appointment will then be made to submit the application to the relevant health insurance provider.
You will receive an admission date as soon as you have received approval for the costs from your pension insurance, health insurance company or employment agency.
For referring physicians
A disorder from the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum is required. Additional physical disorders are not an exclusion criterion.
Addiction disorders can exist as a comorbidity if there is prolonged and sustainable abstinence.
We are happy to offer our rehabilitation for people with reactive depressive development, e.g. after long-term unemployment, after long-term care of relatives, etc.
Building self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-assertion skills are also part of our rehabilitation program for reactive depressive depressions.
A referral is not required. The application for reimbursement can be submitted through the RPK physician. We would be pleased if you would share your medical findings with the interested party.
